Using the Spyderco Bodacious
This is one of Spyderco's larger pocket knives. The blade measures well over nine centimetres and has a full belly, so it cuts through thick material in a single stroke, while the point stays fine enough for precise work. Where your thumb naturally lands, there is a thumb ramp and jimping, giving you control during push cuts without needing to grip hard. The Compression Lock keeps the blade in place and lets you close it one-handed, with your fingers clear of the edge.
Within the series, you can choose between a plain edge and a serrated version, and between a satin or black-coated blade. There was also a Sprint Run with powder steel and carbon handle scales, in one limited production run. Those do not come back, so if you want one, you need to be in time.
