Demko Knives AD22

The Demko Knives AD22 is part of Demko’s USA-made MG (machine-ground) series. This model is lightweight and compact, yet retains the performance and distinctive design you’ve come to expect from Demko. The AD22 is clearly designed for everyday carry (EDC), unlike the larger AD20. It is one of the smallest models in their US-produced range, manufactured at their US factory.

Features of the Demko Knives AD22

The AD22 is an excellent pocket knife for everyday tasks where you need a sturdy blade. The knives are available in high-quality steels such as MagnaCut. This steel offers an unrivalled balance between sharpness retention, toughness, corrosion resistance and ease of sharpening. Naturally, the AD22 also features the Shark-Lock mechanism: a technical masterpiece and user-friendly mechanism that is very popular among knife enthusiasts.

The AD22 is also equipped with a newly designed deep-carry pocket clip that can be reversed for both left- and right-handed users. The clip fits neatly between the standoffs and is made from a single piece. The handles are available in titanium and G10 in various colours.

Demko Knives AD20 vs AD22

The Demko AD20 and AD22 share the same robust design and the familiar Shark-Lock, but differ mainly in size, blade thickness and, consequently, in comfort when worn. The AD20 is the larger and heavier model. With a blade length of 9.2 cm and a blade thickness of approximately 4.6 mm, it is clearly designed for heavier use. This makes it particularly sturdy, but also somewhat bulky in your pocket.

The AD22 has a blade length of 7.8 cm and a blade thickness of approximately 3.6 mm. As a result, it has a slimmer profile and is lighter in weight. It feels less bulky in your pocket and is therefore more comfortable to carry with you on a daily basis as an everyday carry.
