Wuben G5 keychain lights
The Wuben G5 is a 52 gram keychain light with a built-in battery. Besides white light the series also gives red, green and blue, handy for reading maps, working on a bike or signalling. With up to 400 lumens and a beam of more than 80 metres this is more than an emergency light, while it stays on your keys. Charging goes over USB-C.
Features of the Wuben G5
A torch only helps if you have it with you. At 6.2 cm and 52 grams the G5 hangs on your keyring without you noticing, and still puts out up to 400 lumens. The battery is built in, so you carry no loose cells, and it tops up over USB-C.
Besides white light the series carries red, green and blue. Red keeps your night vision intact and draws less attention, while green and blue help when reading maps or marking something. The aluminium body is rated IP65: splashes and rain are fine, submersion is not. You operate it with the side switch.
When do you pick a keychain light?
