Pohl Force often uses D2 for the blades. He shared his expertise by publishing 3 books on knives, which have been translated into several languages. His expertise and designs have graced the pages of numerous trade magazines during his 14-year leadership and creative career in the knife industry of Solingen. Dietmar Pohl love for knives started as an interest, which evolved into a lifelong devotion. He turned his passion into his profession by working in Solingen as Marketing Director, Design and Product Manager in the knife industry. He managed to bring his vision of knife craftsmanship to life, with a focus on modern EDC knives and tactical knives for professionals.

Dietmar Pohl was never worked for the army or the police. He rejects the misleading practice of false claims of military experience. Rather, his expertise is based on close contacts and confidential exchanges with professionals from various elite units worldwide.
