American Elzetta makes really special flashlights. For years and years they have been making reliable flashlights focused on professional use. What makes them special is how simple they seem, but how well thought-out they actually are.
Deceptively simple
Many brands add more output modes and lumens to flashlights, but Elzetta keeps it simple. The hardware is not pushed to the extreme. As a result, the reliability is much better and the lumen output is lower. The switches have only a few light modes, but can be used interchangeably with other models because of the modular nature of the torches. You will get the same functionality from one torch without an abundance of unnecessary light modes.
Modular built
Elzetta flashlights are modular. This means you can replace components to change the functionality. This allows you, for instance, to replace the lens for a broader or more focused beam. You can also replace the bezel ring at the front lens, and the switch. This way you can decide whether you have a turning switch, a click or switch with a strobe mode. A suitable switch type for any tactical situation. Elzetta Bravo and Charlie models even allow you to replace the entire LED module.
