The **Mora Pro S 12242** is a solid outdoor knife and an improved version of the famous Mora 546. Compared to the 546, the handle is mostly made from TPE rubber for a good and comfortable grip. Even in wet circumstances.

The blade is made from stainless Sandvik 12C27 steel. Strong and easy to sharpen. 

The plastic sheath is nice and solid and properly secures the knife. A clearly noticeable click lets you know that the knife is in place. An opening at the base of the holster allows for the drainage of water when needed.

The belt clip can be used to carry the sheath on your belt, but also to attach it to a similar sheath. As such you can stack multiple knives from this collection. Practical when you wish to carry a serrated knife and a regular knife at the same time. The easiest way to disconnect the sheaths is turning the top sheath a quarter turn to release the button that secures it.

Le rapport qualité-prix est imbattable, c'est simple. L'acier inoxydable garde bien son tranchant et ne rouille pas, même après l'avoir utilisé dans des conditions pas terribles. La lame est affûtée rasoir dès la sortie de la boîte et se réaffûte facilement quand il le faut.
Le manche en caoutchouc offre une prise vraiment sûre, même avec les mains mouillées ou sales. C'est bien pensé pour un couteau de travail. La gaine en plastique est solide et se fixe facilement à la ceinture. Pour les petits travaux de découpe, la préparation du bois ou les tâches camping, il fait parfaitement le job.

Les points faibles
Le look est franchement basique, voire industriel. Si tu cherches quelque chose d'esthétique, passe ton chemin. La lame n'est pas très épaisse, donc pour les gros travaux de batonnage ou les utilisations intensives, ce n'est pas l'idéal. Et puis le manche en caoutchouc, même si c'est pratique, ça fait vraiment cheap au toucher comparé à du bois ou du micarta.
En bref pour le prix, c'est difficile de faire mieux. Si tu veux un couteau fiable pour le travail ou les activités outdoor sans te ruiner, fonce. Par contre, si tu cherches du raffinement ou un couteau de collection, ce n'est clairement pas pour toi.

je voulais un couteau pour le jardin...il remplit bien son office sauf que l'acier est bien trop fragile a mon gout...(mais bon pour le prix...)je l'ai remplacé par un hultafors en carbon on verra...par contre rasoir sorti de boite...et un étui super pratique (mieux que le concurrent suédos cité plus haut)

Het roestvaste broertje van de Mora Pro C (deze heeft geen chroom in het lemmet).
Goed mes, door het korte lemmet heb je veel controle met snijwerk.
En minder gedoe met het onderhoud van het lemmet, dus het zal niet niet snel gaan roesten. Alhoewel dat geen probleem is met de Pro C als je er minmale zorg aan besteed.

Fantastisch mes, werk er dagelijks mee in de tuin en bewerk er hout mee. Het blijft scherp, ligt goed in de hand.

Ein Arbeitsmesser wie es der Bushcrafter oder Outdoorenthusiast lieben. Leicht zu reinigen, Klinge leicht nach zu schärfen, robuste Bauweise, eben halt top qualität aus Schweden. Sehr zu empfehlen.
