The **Mora Companion MG stainless** is a sturdy fixed blade for a very reasonable price. The knife is quite lightweight and has perfect dimensions for comfortably wearing it on your belt. The rubber handle is very comfortable and also offers a superb grip.

The knife is very suitable fore bushcraft- and survival. The back of the knife has not been rounded, which is to ease use of a firesteel with this knife. The edge is scandi-ground and easy to sharpen.   
  


It comes with a orange, plastic sheath, equipped with a sturdy belt clip.

Van de 3 verschillende messenfabrikanten staat Mora Companion F op de eerste plaats in zijn prijscategorie. Het is gemakkelijk te slijpen, maar bij intensief werk blijft het mes niet lang scherp; de prijs is zeer acceptabel. Het staal van het lemmet roest niet bij contact met water. Het handvat is comfortabel en glijdt niet uit je handen. De schede zit comfortabel, het mes past er goed in. Ik heb al meerdere Mora-messen gekocht, en geen enkele heeft me in de steek gelaten. Het beste mes in deze prijscategorie!

Ik heb dit mes aangeschaft om te gebruiken op mijn werk . Ik werk in een vochtige omgeving (haven)  en gebruik het mes voor toch redelijke zwaar werk . Het durft wel eens lukken dat het mes per ongeluk andere metalen raakt in alle hevigheid en daarom dat dit mes perfect is door de lage prijs en hoge kwaliteit.  

Ik heb al heel lang een HD-versie van dit mes en dacht dat dit hetzelfde mes, maar dan met een dunner lemmet zou zijn, Dat is dus niet zo: het handvat is dus ook korter, dunner en met veel minder "buik". Nou vind ik het handvat van de HD zo ongeveer perfect voor mijn hand dus dat is toch wel een teleurstelling, het is niet slecht of onbruikbaar, gewoon minder hand vullend. Gelukkig snijd het mes een stuk beter en dat is wat ik zocht. 
Deze messen komen scherp maar snijden toch niet echt lekker, de afwerking van de snede is gewoon wat grof dus een strop-beurt of een zeer fijne steen brengen de scherpheid helemaal naar voren.
De kleur? Dit mes in de schede zie je zelfs nog op de bodem van de sloot, die ga je echt niet kwijtraken maar vergeet je zonnebril niet.
