The **Condor Mountain Pass** is a full-tang hand axe. Because of its compact size you can easily take it with you when you go camping. It comes with a nice leather sheath. 

## Blade of the Condor Mountain Pass axe

The blade is made from 1075 carbon steel. A strong type of steel that is easy to sharpen and can handle its own. 1075, however, is not completely stainless. As such you need to clean it regularly and add a drop of oil once in a while.

The axe handle of the Condor Mountain Pass axe is made from micarta and enhanced with a lanyard eye.

Für mich persönluch die beste kleine Axt in dieser Machart. Alles passt. Form, Gewicht, Verarbeitung top. Kritik: Der Scheidenwinkel könnte kleiner sein, was sich aber  durch nachschleifen korrigieren lässt. Beim Hacken schwingt der Stahl etwas. Grundsätzlich sind geschmiedete Äxte zum Hacken oder Spalten von Holz besser geeignet und effektiver als Flachstahlmodelle, das kann auch das mountain pass nicht ändern. Die Scheide ist sehr hochwertig.
