The **Silky Katanaboy Professional 760-55 Black** is a large folding saw whose performance comes close to that of a chainsaw. Thanks to its 55 cm blade, you can effortlessly reach branches that would otherwise be difficult to cut. The name refers to the Japanese Katana sword, which is reflected in its design. Like a Katana, the Katanaboy has a soft metal core, making the blade flexible and able to bite deeply into the wood. The hard outer layer ensures the sharpness is maintained for a long time.

## Silky Katanaboy 760-55: successor to the 760-50

The updated Silky Katanaboy 760-55 is the successor to the Katanaboy 760-50 and part of the renewed Katanaboy series. The steel frame has been reinforced for extra durability, and the redesigned locking button with improved threading makes opening and closing the blade smooth and safe.

The handle has also been updated and is now based on the design of traditional Japanese samurai swords. The saw blade is slightly thicker for added robustness, and the included carrying case has also been improved.

## Silky Katanaboy 760-55: powerful and efficient
The blade features serrated teeth that are exceptionally sharp. The chrome coating prevents sap build-up and protects against rust. With five teeth per three centimetres, this model has extra coarse teeth, allowing you to quickly saw through large branches and thick trunks. The rubber handle provides a comfortable and secure grip in all conditions and also absorbs vibrations while sawing.

### Safe and reliable locking system
The Katanaboy is equipped with a strong lock. To unlock, simply loosen the screw, press to unfold the blade, and wait for a click. Then tighten the screw again to fully secure the lock.

## Pull saw: efficient work without forcing
The Katanaboy 760-55 is a pull saw. This means the blade does not bend during use. It is important not to force the forward stroke, as this increases the risk of breakage. Always remove the clamp weight to free the saw. Let the saw do the work; this way you work faster, fatigue less, and the saw lasts longer.

The handle allows you to control the amount of wood removed. Holding close to the blade gives more control and precision, while holding further back applies more pressure for faster strokes, but with less accuracy.

## Silky Katanaboy 760-55 vs 760-70: which should you choose?
The Silky Katanaboy 760-55 has a 55 cm blade and is ideal for thick branches and trunks up to around 28 cm in diameter. The 760-70, with its 70 cm blade, goes even further and can effortlessly handle trunks up to approximately 35 cm. The 760-55 is more compact and therefore easier to carry, while the 760-70 offers greater reach and sawing capacity, perfect for the really heavy work.

### Maintaining and cleaning the Silky Katanaboy
A clean blade is essential for good results. Sap can be easily removed with olive oil, an effective and eco-friendly solution. Avoid aggressive cleaning agents, as they can damage the rubber handle.

After use, dry the saw thoroughly and store it in the included shoulder bag in a dry place.
