The French company Opinel is well-known for their distinctive pocket knives, but they also make great knives for in the kitchen. These kitchen knives from the Parallèle-series are equipped with a wooden handle which is protected by a clear coating. Because of the coating, and of course the stainless X50CrMoV15 steel, they can go into the dishwasher. However, we always prefer to wash them by hand. There are different models which you can use for all kinds of work in the kitchen. The knives from the Opinel Parallèle-series are good value for money. Just like the regular Opinel knives, these kitchen knives can have their small imperfections in the finish here and there, but this is what gives them character. They are really user-friendly and always get the job done.

Een heel fijn keukenmes, ligt lekker in de hand. Niet zwaar en goed scherp. Ben er blij mee;)

Opinel heeft steeds zeer kwalitatieve messen voor een heel schappelijke prijs.
Ik vind ze bovendien mooi door hun simpele uitvoering.
Perfect om bij de bbq te gebruiken.

Vlijmscherp Opinel keukenmes.  Ligt lekker in de hand en kan voor allerlei taken gebruikt worden.  Ben erg tevreden.

De koksmessen die ik gebruik voldeden niet meer en ik zocht een mes zonder het puntvormig lemmet, zoals de 'chefs' die ook gebruiken, op tv en zo. Ik hou niet van kunststof en plastic en een mes moet makkelijk te slijpen zijn. Bijna goedkoop te noemen deze Opinel: ligt goed in de hand, ik kan em gebruiken zoals ik me dat had voorgesteld en het brede lemmet is een uitkomst voor het snijden van groente.
