The **Mora Kansbol Hunting 14236** is a different version of the standard Kansbol, specifically well-suited for hunting. The blade is made from stainless steel and the handle has a nice orange-green colour combination. These are popular features among hunters. Stainless steel is great for gutting game and thanks to the colour combination, you'll never lose your knife when making your way through dense vegetation.

## Morakniv Kansbol Hunting blade

The grind on the blade is striking. The blade is approximately 2.4 mm thick near the handle. Halfway through, however, the blade becomes thinner until the end, with a thickness of 1.0 mm at the tip. As a result, the Kansbol is a little lighter, but because of the thicker part at the end of the blade still incredibly strong.

The blade is made from Sandvik 12C27 steel. A stainless steel that retains its sharpness well. The scandi edge is razor-sharp and easy to maintain. A scandi grind is perfect for woodworking. Thanks to the thinner tip, the Kansbol excels at both detailed jobs and the more demanding tasks. In addition to wood work and such, we believe you can also use the thin tip to carry out kitchen tasks in the camp.

Unlike other Kansbol knives, the spine of the blade does not have a sharp 90-degree angle, therefore you can't use a firesteel with this knife.

## Morakniv Kansbol Hunting handle

The handle is made from polymer, with a TPE rubber finish around the core. Very sustainable, and provides plenty of grip. It's especially useful in damp conditions when your hands are wet or slippery. When you hold the Kansbol it will immediately give you a feeling of familiarity.

## Morakniv Kansbol Hunting sheath

This version of the Kansbol comes with a simple sheath with leather belt loop. With this, you carry the Kansbol Hunting vertically on a belt.

Despite the low price, this knife competes with other with one more digit. Dont look any further if you need a reliable fixed blade.

Super couteau Mora, qualité /prix exceptionnelle.

As a hunter, I'm always looking for a better knife to take outdoors.
This is why I customized my previous standard green Mora Kansbol by removing the secondary bevel and the 90degree spine. I also polished the knife to improve the slicing capabilities. After loosing that knife while butchering a deer in the outdoors, I was delighted to see Mora has made a knife just like I reimagined my old one. The addition of the orange will also help me not to loose it this time. Just like almost all Mora's, the polymer sheath is very useful. You can pack your knife without thoroughly cleaning it first. That's why I prefer it over leather sheaths.
