This **Lodge Classic Cast Iron frying pan** is perfect when baking, roasting, stewing or grilling. The cast-iron retains the heat well and perfectly distributes it. No strange spots in the pan where your food won't heat up! And the frying pan can be used on all cooking hobs. Put it in the oven, or your stove, or hang it over an open flame. It even works on induction. This pan is enhanced with an, easy to hold, handle and a flat handle to make sure you can easily lift the pan. These handles will heat up, so always make sure you take hold of the pan with an oven mitt or [silicone pan holder](/en/pt/-lodge-silicone-pan-holder-ashh11-black.htm).


## Maintaining your lodge pan


 As the pan is produced it is treated with vegetable oil based on soya. As a result you end up with a natural non-stick coating. And each time you use a Lodge pan, this non-stick coating will only become better. Maintaining it, however, is very important. Clean the pan after use with water and a little bit of detergent. It is not dishwasher proof. If there is still some left-over food sticking to the pan, scrape it off with a [pan scraper.](/en/pt/-lodge-pan-scraper-combo-set-scrapercombo.htm) Having trouble removing the left-over food? Simmer a little bit of water in the pan for 3-5 minutes. Afterwards you can easily scrape out any left-over residue. Properly dry the pan after cleaning it and add a small layer of [oil](kato://product/LG-L-Aspray) to the pan. Always make sure you store the pan in a dry place. Otherwise it can start to rust!

Ik ben tevreden met mijn aankoop. De pan is van hoge kwaliteit en zal waarschijnlijk lang meegaan.

Molto soddisfatto. E' la mia prima padella in ghisa e direi che per quanto di mia conoscenza è davvero un buon prodotto

Erg tevreden na 1 maand gebruik. Voldoet aan alle verwachtingen.

La poêle est tout à fait conforme à mon attente. Elle s'avère très pratique malgré le poids (la poignée est courte donc l'ensemble n'est pas trop encombrant, mais il ya  une petite poignée à l'opposé qui permet de la porter sans soucis). Elle est pré-culottée mais il faut tout de même bien la soigner au début comme tous les ustensiles de ce type car sinon ça ne dure pas. Bref c'est une poêle en fonte!
L'emballage était un peu "léger " par contre et le paquet était passablement défait. mai sla poêle était intacte.
