The **Leatherman Skeletool CX** is an incredibly cool multi-tool. It was designed to be as lightweight as possible, while still carrying all the tools you might need on a daily basis. 
  


We already know the design with the holes in the frame from the normal Skeletool. This is called a *Skeletonised* frame. With the Skeletool CX, the blade has received an upgrade: 154CM steel instead of 420HC. This is a stainless steel originally designed for jet engines. Many people also appreciate that the Skeletool CX has a blade without serrations. It leaves you with enough plain edge to peel an apple.

A leatherman is a leatherman, the quality is not in question. But this one is the right size for me, it rides in my pocket every day, replaced my knife. Something other sizes never could achieve, they were either too small for the task, or too large for my pocket. This one hits the spot.

If like me you find the original Leatherman too heavy this is a great compromise. Knife, pliers and screwdriver are all I need most of the time. Well designed functionally and aesthetically too! What's not to like? 

I have 5 leatherman multi tools and this is my favourite and most used one. It’s light so you don’t feel it in your pocket which is my favourite thing about it. I’ve found the heavier ones are always a little annoying in my pocket. I like the one handed opening and the blade is good quality.

Please note that knives are almost always sharpened by hand, even in factories. This value is therefore only an indication of a single tool measured by us.
