The **Leatherman Bond 832937** is a practical and affordable multi-tool. With the Bond you can carry out any task like its namesake from the 007 franchise. This multi-tool is enhanced with no less than 14 functions. In terms of design the Bond looks a lot like the popular Leatherman PST (Pocket Survival Tool) and is enhanced with a couple more functions than the Leatherman Wingman. The Leatherman Bond combines simplicity, versatility and reliability in this compact design: at only 10.2 cm and 165 grams, you'll always have space in your pocket, bag or EDC pouch for this tool. Would you rather carry it on your belt? No problem! This Leatherman comes with a black nylon belt sheath.

## Leatherman Bond slipjoint mechanism
The tools are enhanced with a slipjoint lock. This means that all tools, including the blade, do not lock when opened. As such, you can legally carry the Bond almost anywhere. You open the stainless steel 420HC steel blade with two hands with the help of the *nail nick*.

The droppoint-shaped blade is made of 420HC stainless steel. This stainless steel contains more carbon than normal 420 steel. This addition keeps the knife sharp for longer. The blade shape is suitable for almost all cutting jobs.

J'ai déjà toute la famille des Mid-size Leatherman: Wingman, Sidekick, Rev, Squeletool. J'étais intéressé par l'aspect compact du manche, le combo porte-embouts et la lame non bloquée (dans le contexte actuel...). A ce niveau, le contrat est bien rempli.
Les détails qui agacent : le sertissage des axes est tellement serré que toutes les manipulations d'outils sont difficiles. Prudence pour utiliser la lame!
On regrette le ressort de rappel du Sidekick...
Les finitions : je me suis entaillé la main dès la première utilisation de la pince: les plaquettes sont à peine chamfreinées. Un p'tit coup de Dremel à été nécessaire. 
Au final: c'est plus OSS117 que Bond... mais on va le garder quand même. Par pur chauvinisme ^^

Mon premier Leatherman EDC. Assez pratique, juste la bonne taille pour avoir en poche. Très satisfait de mon achat.

pratique, mécanismes un peu durs à réception

Er bestaan 2 versies van de Bond; een oudere en een nieuwere. Het verschil zit hem in het meslemmet, meerpbepaald in de vorm en de retentie daarvan. Ik zocht specifiek de nieuwere omwille van de sterkere retentie. Te laat besefte ik de K&T de oudere verkoopt / verkocht. Ik stuurde deze terug en kreeg zeer snel een volledige terugbetaling. Perfecte service wat dat betreft.
De Bond op zich is een multitool met uitstekende prijs / kwaliteitverhouding die, en dat was de reden dat ik hem kocht, in verschillende Europese landen vrij te dragen is omwille van het niet-vergrendelende, niet éénhandig te openen, en niet groter dan 3" meslemmet.
