The **Fällkniven WM1 VGWolf** is an incredibly functional, top-quality hunting knife. The remarkable thing about this knife is that it was specifically designed for women. As such WM1 stands for WoMen. Women often have smaller hands than men. Many women also don't prefer carrying a large knife on their belt. That is why Fällkniven created this compact WM1. This, of course, does not mean that this knife cannot be used by men: the compact character and the excellent quality ensure that it is popular amongst male hunters and outdoor enthusiasts.



The blade of the Fallkniven -  WM1  (VGWolf - Zytel sheath) measures 7 cm in length and 3,5 mm in thickness. The total length is 17,5 cm.



## Steel type: VGWolf
The blade of this Fällkniven is made from VGWolf steel, also known as Lam. VG7. This steel is a laminated steel based on VG10, but with an improved composition. Thanks to the addition of tungsten (or wolfram), this steel is more wear resistant, retains its sharpness longer and has a finer micro-structure than standard VG10 or even VG10W. The laminated construction means that a hard core is covered by softer, stainless steel. This results in extra toughness and shock resistance, ideal for outdoor and survival use.



This knife has a convex grind. This is a special sharpening method where the side of the blade continues in one convex curve to a razor-sharp edge. This sharpening method is often applied by hand in the factory. The great advantage of a convex grind is that it offers the perfect balance between minimal cutting resistance and optimum strength of the edge. The blade of this knife is enhanced with a 'satin finish'. This is a chic and tasteful finish that is very popular.

Erg fijn handzaam edc mes. Goed van formaat om gewoon je dagelijkse dingen mee te doen en alle veelzijdigheid van een vaststaand mes, echter niet dat intimiderende uiterlijk of formaat. Zoals altijd van Fallkniven fantastische kwaliteit en zeer scherp uit de doos, een echte aanrader! 


Ein sehr kompaktes, handliches Messer, allerbestens für feine Schnitte auf engstem Raum (zB im Inneren von Tierkörpern) geeignet, wo ein übliches Jagdmesser einfach zu groß ist. Die VG10-Klinge ist selbstverständlich wunderbar scharf.
