Reviews for de Buyer Mineral B-Pro Element frying pan 28 cm, 5680.28

Not used yet as I bought both pans for my daughter’s Xmas. I have The de Buyer carbon plus 24cm and 28cm which I use all the time, great for searing meat etc. I assume the Mineral B-pro will perform as well no problem to use in oven, looks great with stainless steal handle but more expensive. Be aware these are solid and heavy will last for ever.

Gives excellent frying results with good heat distribution. But it also has the drawbacks of a carbon steel pan: It needs a "burning in period", will require oil or butter when frying and must be dried immediately after rinsing with hot water, or it will rust.

Very good quality.
