The head of the Trail Boss is designed in European style which ensures that wood is easily split. The grip is made of high quality American Hickory. Good solid axe. But bigger that expect but great

lovely compact axe. Handy to have in your garden if you have a lot of trees or when camping. I used this when taking up some old stumps and after clearing around the roots this made short work of them and made taking up the stump very easy
