The **Civivi Altus C20076** is a compact pocket knife for daily use. The blade is 7.5 cm long. For many pocket knife enthusiasts this blade length is a sweet spot for an EDC knife. Large enough for most cutting tasks, like opening packages, and small enough for the more precise tasks. As such it is not surprising that many popular pocket knives, like the Civivi Elementum, have a comparable blade length.

The Altus is enhanced with a button lock. This means that the blade is locked by a solid button. You open it by pushing the lock and pulling the knife out. The lock will also block it when closed.

## Cuibourtia handle

The handle is comprised of steel liners with scales made from Cuibourtia wood. It is the Latin name for Bubinga. It is an elegant wood, often used for musical instruments.

## Nitro-V steel blade

The blade is made from Nitro-V steel. This is a type of steel that, in terms of performance, is similar to AEB-L and 14C28N steel. Great types of steel that retain their sharpness well!

Het handvat valt donkerder uit dan het voorbeeld model maar dat bevalt juist beter. 
Met Nitro-V heb ik nog geen ervaring maar tot nu toe niks te klagen
