The **Victorinox Outdoor Master Mic Small 4.2262** is a small and sturdy knife. Made for everyday use or for in nature. The knives in the Victorinox Outdoor Master collection are the first fixed outdoor knives from Victorinox. A big step for a brand that is mainly known for its multi-functional Swiss folding knives. The Outdoor Master collection is made by Manufacturas Muela, a Spanish knife-maker who specializes in making sturdy fixed knives. The result is therefore very impressive. You can use a knife from the Outdoor Master series for camping or bushcraft purposes.

 The handle is made from blue-black layered micarta with red liners. Micarta is a material consisting of a linen or paper cloth, impregnated with an epoxy-based resin. The material is compressed under high pressure. The result is an incredibly beautiful, sturdy handle material that offers a lot of grip. Even in humid weather conditions, the material retains its grip. Victorinox has placed a lanyard hole at the end of the handle. As such you can attach a piece of paracord.

 The blade is made from a steel that can compared to the famous 1.4110 steel that is used for Swiss pocket knives: 1.4116 steel. A good stainless steel grade that is easy to maintain. Great for when you're in the woods and quickly need to sharpen your knife. Victorinox has also enhanced the Outdoor Master series with a scandi grind. In fact, a large secondary edge, without any further frills. Because the blade is relatively thick, it is very strong and can handle quite a lot. A scandi grind is great for wood work. Due to its small size, the Outdoor Master Mic Small excels in this respect.

 The Outdoor Master Mic Small comes with a robust kydex sheath. You can hang this sheath around your neck with a piece of paracord. That way, you'll always have the knife around, no matter where you are.

Je suis déçu. La taille est trompeuse sur le site. Je m attendais à un couteau un peu p'us grand. Dans le mail je l avais signale. Mais ils n ont pas tenu compte. Dommage.

Leuk, niet al te groot mes. Ga het gebruiken als vismes bij het vliegvissen. Makkelijk bereikbaar door de houder die in je kleding kan hangen. Snelle levering.

Mooi edc mesje voor alledaagse taken. Ook makkelijk als 2e mes tijdens het bushcraften. Erg scherp uit de doos. Helaas was bij mij het puntje niet echt scherp, maar dat was snel opgelost met een slijpsteentje. Verdere afwerking is gewoon super.
Nadeel van een kydex shede is wel dat er snel krasjes op het mes komen. Als verzamelaar zeg ik, jammer. Maar als gebruiker is dit niet erg. 
Al met al een heerlijk mes dar erg goed in de hand ligt. Een aanrader voor als je een 2e bushcraft mesje of een mooi en practisch vast edc mesje zoekt.
