The **TOPS Wolf pAX 2** is a set comprising an axe and a fixed knife. So when you're out hiking or camping, you'll have everything you need to save you in one handy sheath. Use the axe to chop firewood and build a shelter. The knife can be used for precise cuts and food preparation. 



The blades of both the axe and the knife are made from 1095 carbon steel. This is a non-stainless steel that is highly resistant to breakage. The black traction coating helps to prevent rust and reflections. The handle is made from micarta, which is a great handle material because it offers plenty of grip, whether your hands are dry, wet, or wearing gloves.


The axe has a regular cutting edge, but you'll also find an extra edge at the bottom. You can use this to create wood shavings (feathersticking). 




The Kydex sheath is a work of art in itself. The sheath for the fixed knife is attached to the axe sheath. This is rotatable, so you can choose how you want to pull the knife out. There is a sturdy steel belt clip so you can safely carry the whole set on your belt. Instructions are provided for the safe use of the axe sheath. If your fingers are in the wrong place, you could come into contact with the secondary cutting edge. Be aware of this!
