The **Schrade Bedrock 1182500** is an all-round hand axe, as you can use it for many purposes. Thanks to its small size and light weight, this is a nice axe to take with you on a hike. It's also a great axe to use around camp, when gathering wood for a campfire, for example. You immediately notice the handle because it is enhanced with thermoplastic rubber. As such you have a lot of grip, especially when compared to a wooden handle.

This axe is great for survival purposes. The handle is enhanced with a firesteel. The firesteel is extra thick which means you can use it for a long time. You can easily pull it out by simply pulling the cord. It doesn't matter which situation you find yourself in, building a fire will be a piece of cake.

The axe head is made of 3CR13 stainless steel and the back of the axe head can be used as a hammer. The axe is thick behind the sharp edge, making it well suited for heavy use.

This axe comes with a nylon fibre sheath. This is a type of hard plastic. The sheath has a robust press-stud that you can use to open and close it. It also has several cut-outs. Handy, because these enable you to attach a lanyard. You can also attach the axe to your belt or bag, because the sheath is equipped with a belt loop.
