I own the Opinel folding No7 and 9 and they came sharp and excellent for kitchen tasks like slicing vegetables. These are blunt not sharp at all. You'll need to put in the effort to sharpen it properly so make sure you own/buy something to sharpen.

My only issue with these knifes are that my hands are to big so there isn't much space between the bottom of the blad and the handle but maybe a smaller handle for myself would be better but that's on me not yous but the knifes them selfs are amazingly sharp
