The **Ohta Light Folder OLF** was designed and made by hand by Hiroaki Ohta. A nice and fine pocket knife. Stylish and light-weight. You open the knife with two hands and a slipjoint provides resistance when you close it. Because of this combination you can legally carry the Ohta Light Folder in many places in Europe.



The Ohta Light Folder is a traditional gentleman's knife. Stylish and fine in terms of design. Use it to peel an apple or open a box or letter. The blade is made from D2 steel. A tough type of steel which has been popular for a really long time. It retains its sharpness well and is also easy to sharpen with the right means. You do, however, have to be careful around acids, salt and moisture: D2 is not completely stainless. So clean the blade after use.



## Ebony wood


Ebony wood is a type of wood that is perfect for handles. This type of wood is very hard, has short grains and a very even structure. That is also why this wood practically doesn't splinter. But, of course, it also simply looks amazing because of the change in colour from dark to light. That is also why this type of wood is very popular for wood carving, sculpting and instruments.
