(-) (-) Unlike the previous 10,000 mAh model from this brand, which had a USB-A port and a basic USB-C port (both ports delivering 5 volts without any fuss), this model only has ‘strict’ USB-C ports: they expect the device to indicate what voltage they should provide. Anyone with devices fitted with a ‘USB-C-type’ socket that only accepts 5 volts (many made-in-China devices; NB: smartphones excepted) may run into problems. (+)(+)(+) Accepts charging from a solar panel without complaint (which is not the case with many power banks; lots of them do not resume charging when the sun is intermittent). Ideally, use panels with USB-C, as the power bank decides based on the available voltage.
