This **Zippo lighter gift set** contains a black crackle windproof lighter and a black tactical pouch. With it the recipient of this cool gift can always safely store and transport his/her Zippo. The tactical pouch has a neutral black colour. You, of course, don't have to give it away! If you get this set for yourself we promise we won't tell!

Zippo lighters have been produced ever since 1932. The American company has virtually become a synonym for this type of lighter. Everyone has seen them! The function of a wick hanging in a reservoir of lighter fluid is characteristic for this lighter. By rotating the wheel alongside a flint the sparks will hit the wick. As such it will light up. A wind catcher is fitted around the wick. As such the Zippo has been quite wind-resistant for dozens of years, even before storm lighters emerged.

Zippo's have always been a part of life. Amongst (survival) enthusiasts and collectors. The simple technique of a Zippo is a lot easier to 'troubleshoot' in the field than the modern lighter. 

## Using your Zippo for the first time

A zippo lighter is empty upon delivery. As such you need to [fill it before use](https://www.zippo.com/pages/how-to-fill-your-zippo-lighter). The best thing you can do is use the original Zippo lighter fluid, but benzene is also possible. We are, unfortunately, not able to ship lighter fluid because of safety reasons.

Mooie uitvoering, mat zwart, opbergholstertje leent zich niet voor hele brede riemen, lus had wel wat groter of elastisch gemogen.

Mooie zippo pouch ideaal om aan je tactical rugzak te hangen dankzij de molle bevestiging. 

Super Zippo typische Qualität, die Tasche ist sehr gut verarbeitet und sieht auch sehr gut aus. Für jeden der ein schlichtes zeitloses Zippo haben möchte kann ich dieses nur empfehlen. Seit meinem Kauf ist dies mein Alltags Zippo um die hochpreisigen in meiner Sammlung zu schonen.
