About Narex

Narex began in 1919 as Václav Richter's factory for high-quality woodworking tools. Before the brand grew into what it is today, it went through many setbacks and changes. Yet the company remained true to its core: making tools that woodworkers all over the world can appreciate. Today, after 100 years of innovation and a complete privatisation in 1994, Narex in Bystřice produces more than 1,500 items with around 100 dedicated craftsmen. Today, Narex's production is largely machine-made, but the cutting edges and final 'finishing touches' on the tools are still done by hand. The result? High-quality tools with more than excellent value for money.
