The **Müller forestry axe Biber 1000g** is a top-quality axe. It was forged by hand and great when felling and pruning trees. The ergonomically shaped handle is made from hickory wood. This is a rock-solid type of American wood that won't splinter or break. This head of this forestry axe has a flared shape, to make sure you have a broad cutting surface.

About Müller Müller has been around ever since 1675. The Austrian forge still traditionally produces their axes, but is not afraid of innovation. They do whatever they can to make sure their traditional axes become even better and more user-friendly. Maintaining an axe The right maintenance extends the life of your axe. For that reason you should always correctly store your tools. A storage place that is too dry will dry out the handle. However, a storage place that is too humid will make the handle swell which could, in time, damage the fibres of the wood. If you are planning to store your axe for a longer period of time it is wise to protect the cutting surface from rust. All you have to do is apply a little bit of oil or fat on the cutting surface. Afterwards protect the edge with, for instance, a sheath and you are good to go.
