The Medford Praetorian T 25-PT-01, S45VN Vulcan Tanto Blade, DLC Titanium Handle, pocket knife is a hefty EDC knife in the colour brown, grey. With its blade length of 10,5 cm, it's especially suited for demanding cutting tasks. This is not a compact knife! When closed, it measures 13,5 cm in length and it weighs 240 g.



## Blade made of CPM S45VN steel
The blade of this Medford Praetorian is made of CPM S45VN steel. This is a premium type of stainless steel made by Crucible Industries in the US. S45VN retains its sharpness well, is pretty tough and very corrosion resistant. CPM S45VN  was developed as a successor to CPM S35VN. S45VN retains its sharpness even better than S35VN, and is even more resistant to corrosion too.



## Titanium handle

The handle of this Medford Praetorian is made of titanium and measures 13,5 cm in length. Titanium is a fantastic high-tech material. It is an excellent choice for the handle of a pocket knife for several reasons: titanium is very strong, lightweight and it is flexible. Moreover, titanium can be machined very precisely and a wide range of different finishes are possible. To be exact, the handle is made of a titanium alloy. Small amounts of aluminium and vanadium are added to pure titanium to make it even more suitable for use as a pocket knife handle.

He oversees the entire production process in-house. Every component of a Medford folding knife is made in his own factory in Phoenix, Arizona, USA.
