The **KMFS Diamond Paste 3000 grit** is a polishing paste that you can use to polish irregularities and minuscule scratches from the edge. This gives your knife a shiny and razor-sharp edge. It is an oil-based paste with synthetic diamond grains of 3000 grit or about 3.5 microns in size. Do you want an even finer polishing paste? You use this polishing paste in combination with a strop. When stropping with the KMFS sharpening system, it is preferable to use the [KMFS leather strops](/en/pt/-kmfs-leather-strops-rival-lesp-2-piece-leather-stropping-set.htm). Put a few drops of polishing paste on the leather and spread until the entire strap is covered with the polishing paste. Leave it to take effect for a few minutes. Once applied, the polishing paste will remain in place for several sharpening sessions. It isn't necessary to re-lubricate the strop every time you sharpen. How long it lasts will depend on how often you use the strop. You will notice when the strop is no longer effective.

Unfortunately, i noticed too late that this exact same paste is sold on aliexpress for literally a few cents a tube.
Quite a big rip-off. 

Can't say much about the performance, although it feels like the concentration of diamonds in the compound is somewhat low

Ich verwende die Paste auf der Vorderseite meines "Field Strops". Sehr gutes Ergebnis! Für das Finish verwende ich dann die 6000er - Paste auf der Rückseite des Strops! Kaufempfehlung!
