Kizer T1 Task 1 pocket knife KI3490, Uli Hennicke design

A solid folder indeed, well made out of quality materials, and it looks great. Opening, locking and closing action all work with ease and confidence. I like most aspects about this mid-size knife. The main complaint: sharp outer edge of the lanyard hole. This narrow and rather pointy corner sticks unpleasantly into the base of my palm at times during handling. To me it is a huge design flaw, prohibiting the top marks for my rating here. The blade edge is sharp but very roughly ground, the grinding pattern is visible even without magnification. That's a minor issue if at all. A nearly great knife overall, the poky upper rear end being the only disappointing detail.
