The Hultafors Premium Dvardala 0.7 Hunting & Forest Axe 841780 is the perfect axe for hunting and outdoor living. It combines several axe types, ideal for a day in the woods with various challenges. It has the same type of head as the Hultafors Åby axe, but the handle is shorter. This makes it easier to carry, for example in or attached to a backpack. The shorter handle also makes it easier to work with the axe close to the body. The handle is also slightly curved to ensure comfortable use.

It's a great axe although slightly overpriced in my opinion. Then again, a good axe, well maintained, should last for life! I've purchased the Cold Steel Hudson Bay and the Hultafors Carpenter's axe from K&T before but needed a smaller lighter axe for camping tasks and the Dvardala was perfect. It is RAZOR sharp! While trying to wipe a small bit of muck off the blade it nicked my finger and cut it immediately. Never had an axe do that before so should give some idea of how sharp it is. Also it looks so good and feels so good when you're using it.
