The **Hultafors Premium Dvardala 0.7 Hunting & Forest Axe 841780** is the perfect axe for hunting and outdoor living. It combines several axe types, ideal for a day in the woods with various challenges. It has the same type of head as the Hultafors Åby axe, but the handle is shorter. This makes it easier to carry, for example in or attached to a backpack. The shorter handle also makes it easier to work with the axe close to the body. The handle is also slightly curved to ensure comfortable use.

The axe is suitable for precision work such as woodcutting or building shelters, fire pits and other things around a campsite. This is thanks to a well-proportioned notch in the axe head and a relatively straight blade with a high scandi grind. The notch allows you to hold the axe close to the axe head and guide the axe with maximum control. The head is slightly thicker across the sides, giving it good splitting capabilities for chopping firewood. 

## Hultafors axe head
The axe head is forged from Swedish axe steel. The edge is hardened to make sure it is strong enough to stay sharp without breaking, but can also be sharpened. Basically everything you like to see in an axe head. The Hultafors axes are reliable and will last a lifetime. That is why Hultafors gives a lifetime warranty on the axe head of all Premium axes.

## Hultafors axe handles
Hultafors uses American hickory wood for the handles. This type of wood is exceptional at absorbing blows without breaking. It is the perfect material for hammers or axe handles.

## Features of Hultafors Premium axes
The axe heads used for the Hultafors Premium collection are forged in the same way as the heads used for the Agdor axes. The remarkable aspect of the Premium collection, however, is that they are mostly made by hand. After forging, the axes are finished on belt sanders by skilled craftsman. First the geometry of the head is refined. Afterwards the heads are hardened and tempered to 55 HRC. Then, the Premium axe is sharpened. By hand, until every edge shines like a mirror. Finally, the handle is attached and the axe is covered by a premium sheath.
