The **Gerber CLS** is a tactical pocket knife designed by Rick Hinderer. With a background as a fireman and an EMT he knows what you might need during an emergency situation. It is knowledge he loves to share with you: meet the Gerber CLS.


CLS stands for Combat Life Saver. The name already suggests it: a lifesaving tool for combat situations. The 440A-steel blade is razor-sharp and partially enhanced with serrations that will help you cut through high-fibre materials such as rope, straps or seatbelts. On the back of the handle you can find a glass breaker. Indispensable during emergency situations when you need to rescue yourself or someone else from a car. For the same purpose the tool also comes with a cutting hook: perfect when you need to save someone from their seatbelt. A hook is better than a regular blade because you won’t injure the victim.


The handle is made from FRN: glass reinforced nylon. Light-weight and incredibly strong. On the side you will find a slot you can use to open an oxygen tank. Indispensable tools for professionals.


You open the blade with the thumb studs after which it will open smoothly. When opened the lock firmly keeps the blade in place. The block closely resembles a liner lock, it only has a separate detent to unlock it.
