The **Extrema Ratio Resolza 10** is based on the classic Resolza pocket knife from Sardinia. Elongated and slender, with a rounded belly and sharp tip, thin grind and razor-sharp edge: these are the hallmarks of a Resolza. This Extrema Ratio Resolza is a perfect example.

The island of Sardinia has a history that dates back centuries when it comes to cutting tools, ranging from swords to pocket knives, and from daggers to sabres. The Resolza is a classic within that knife culture. It's the knife everyone carries. Whether it's for everyday activities, food preparation etc., a Resolza always comes in handy.

This is the Resolza 10 version with a 10 cm long blade. When opened, the blade is locked in place by a liner lock. You use two hands to open the Extrema Ratio Resolza. This means you're allowed to carry it around with you in many different European countries.

## Böhler N690 steel blade

The blade is made from Austrian Böhler N690 steel. This is a stainless steel with long sharpness retention that is also used for surgical tools. N690 is highly durable and can be sharpened until razor sharp.

## Anticorodal aluminium handle

The handle is made from anodized anticorodal aluminium. It is lightweight and seriously solid. During anodizing, an extra layer is applied onto the aluminium. This makes the handle even more corrosion-resistant.

Das Resolza stand schon lange auf meiner Agenda.
Der erste Eindruck nach dem Auspacken entsprach auch dem erwarteten.
Im Nachgang allerdings wage ich zu behaupten, das es nicht die bezahlten € 220,- wert ist (aber das trifft bei ER immer wieder zu). Es ist tatsächlich nicht allzu sauber geschliffen, zudem läuft es einfach nicht richtig sauber auf und zu. In meinen Augen hat es durchaus Potenzial, sollte aber in diesem Zustand nicht mehr als € 120,- kosten dürfen. Ich habe ein ganz ähnlich gemachtes Bestech Messer für unter € 100,- welches eine deutlich bessere Figur macht und an dem es nic zu mäkeln gibt. Das Resolza bleibt allerdings alleine schon der Optik halber in meinem Besitz.
