This **CRKT Freyr replacement axe handle** replaces the old axe handle of the [CRKT Freyr](/en/pt/-crkt-freyr-2746-axe-elmer-roush-design.htm). The handle is made from strong hickory wood from Tennessee in the United States. 

## Putting the head on the handle

Replacing it is easy: Simply remove the old handle and place the new one in the axe head. Make sure the handle is securely wedged into the axe head. Grab the included wooden wedge and place it in the cut-out of the axe handle. Use a hammer to hit the wedge into this cut-out until it can't go any deeper. The wooden wedge forces the axe handle to spread out a little, causing the handle to squeeze into the axe head. Saw off the wooden wedge at the top of the handle. Use a hammer to hit the steel ring wedges into the top of the handle. Now the new axe handle is fixed in place!
