Great budget tracker style blade, very capable, likely my favourite knife I own. After 3 months of consistent use: Great tracker style knife, feels very comfortable in the hand (sized s-m) and feels very balanced in the hand. The sheath feels great, knife clicks into place securely and can be drawn easily. Though the blade is smaller than the full-sized version, it is still very capable, excels in camp tasks that include chopping / slicing / carving due to its versatile blade which includes a standard flat grind on the top and a hollow ground section toward the bottom making it great for food prep and preparing small kindling aswell as pulling curls easily with the "hooked" hollow ground section to make feather sticks. It is great for carving tasks as it can act something like a draw knife at the hollow ground section while still having the capability of taking out chunks of wood at the flat ground section, similar to a very small hatchet. While it can baton and bite into wood effectively, I would not recommend battoning anything thicker than your wrist as it could cause chips to appear on your blade with extended hard use. I like this knife very much as it takes the tracker style blade and puts it in a compact package at an affordable price. In general; Very nice blade, if you like the niche style of tracker blades and you dont want to pay a premium price; then I would highly recommend it. Recommendations: -Clean and oil the knife after use to prevent rust build-up. -Sharpen "hooked" hollow ground section with a ceramic rod for an easier time sharpening.
