## Friodur steel chef's knife

The blade is made from ice-hardened Friodur steel. During this process the steel is heated in 4 stages to 1000°C and cooled to-70 °C. Zwilling perfected this technique, which guarantees optimum sharpness, sustainability, elasticity and corrosion resistance. The knife is sharpened in five steps and the result is a perfectly sharpened knife. The crop of the knife does not extend to the edge of the blade to make sure you can easily sharpen it on a sharpening stone.

Ken je deze? 'Door schade en schande ...' : dit overkwam mij met mijn vorige Zwilling koksmes: Bevroren vlees nooit hakken met koksmes! Hierdoor spatte een brok metaal van het lemmet. Domme aktie! Nieuw koksmes besteld. Nu reuze blij mee en zéér zuinig erop!

A good, strong kitchen essential. Bought this with a robust cutting board as a gift for a young adult who cooks. I have not seen the knife myself but I believe that the only difference to my own, upgraded version is the handle but I don't think it makes any real difference. The product arrived quickly, actually one day earlier than estimated in the busy period before Christmas.

Uitstekende keus geweest om dit mes aan te schaffen. Ligt gemakkelijk in de hand en goed te gebruiken.
