The **TRC M-1SL Apocalyptic Finish M390, Black Canvas Micarta** is a robust and sturdy outdoor knife, made from a top-quality type of steel. You use the M-1SL as a hunting knife, survival knife or bushcraft knife. As long as it is used for outdoor purposes the TRC M-1SL will be the perfect partner in crime.

## TRC M-1SL steel

The blade is made from Böhler M390, a premium type of steel which many knife enthusiasts consider to be the best out there. It retains its sharpness well and is very corrosion resistant. This feature is, of course, perfect when you spend a lot of time on the water. The spine of the blade is nicely curved and the subtle jimping for your thumb are neatly applied. This version is enhanced with the popular Apocalypse finish. As a result, each knife is unique. Something to take into account: TRC has stated that the Apo Finish is a little more sensitive to patina. However, this also means that the knife will look even more brutal over time. Please note: the finish of the blade is unique for each knife. It may vary from the product photo.

## TRC M-1SL handle

The handle is made from micarta. It might be hard to see on the photograph, but the surface has been enhanced with a subtle diamond texture. As a result, you will have even more grip over the knife. Because the curved tang of the blade protrudes from the handle, it will feel even better in hand. The protruding tang is ideal as a striking surface.

The TRC Knives M-1SL comes with a tight kydex sheath. It has a nylon belt loop that can accommodate belts of up to 9.0 cm. Alternatively, you can also use the many mounting eyes for a clip or carry option of your choice.

The best all around knife ever made.  It does everything well and in my opinion it’s the best tactical blade there is.  Perfect size for attaching to a plate carrier or chest rig without getting in the way.  
It’s worth the money!

Une finition parfaite. Les matériaux utilisés sont très qualitatifs, le M390 vous permet de nombreuses coupes moyennes. Un outil polyvalent au top. Même s’il reste la question du prix qui fait assez mal. Je le recommande aux passionnés de couteaux bien pensé. Aux passionnés de nature.

Al jaren ben ik aan het kijken voor een TRC mes, dit vanwege de ongelooflijke kwaliteit en afwerking, maar de prijs…….tsja…… die is hoog. Uiteindelijk toch besloten om de m-1 al app te bestellen en de TRC Urban tactical in apo finish. Beide messen zijn echt fantastisch en serieus scherp! Ik haalde mn mes uit z’n schede en liet deze helaas over m’n duim glijden wat resulteerde in 4 hechtingen 🤣😅De afwerking en het oog voor detail is echt fenomenaal goed. Er is werkelijk geen enkel puntje waar ik iets op te zeuren heb, fantastisch. Ik ben zeer blij met mijn m-1 sl, de urban tactical heb ik terug gestuurd vanwege de scout Carry, ik vind het prettiger om m’n mes verticaal aan mn riem te hebben. Maar al om al is het een hoop geld, maar je krijgt absoluut waar voor je geld. Super!!!

Extraordinaire qualité , j'achéte ce genre de couteau essentiellement pour ma collection , certains de mes modéles ont été testés sur le terrain , mais j'avoue que ce dernier ne le sera certainement pas , tout est parfait sur ce modèle , la prise en main ,la qualité de coupe ,  la finition apocalypse donne une esthétique superbe , le poids accentue l'effet de solidité , vraiment aucun regret !
