Its a Spyderco, but doesnt give me that feeling, as when you open a new Spyderco. The knife itself is good quality, LW scales and blade finish is flawless. BUT... the pivot was tightened too much and..... they freakin glued it from the factory.. i have never had a screw on a Spyderco be impossible to get out. The pivot screw is thightened so hard, you cant spydie-flick it. which kinda takes the fun out of it. (now this may be my specific knife, not a issues on the blade itself) Its a GREAT knife for someone getting into the Spyderco knife world. you will enjoy it. but as a owner of multiple higher quality Spyderco's it doesnt scratch that itch.

I really like this one. It has great ergonomics, looks good, and features the classic Spyderco leaf shape. It's also an excellent slicer. Right now, it's one of my favorite EDCs. A great entry-level Spyderco. That said, the steel could be better. The 8Cr13MoV performs well for me (and probably will for you too), but there are knives with better steel available for half the price.
