The **Spyderco Tenacious** is a perfect pocket knife for everyday use. Ergonomic Spyderco design, for an amazing price. In recent years the Spyderco Tenacious grew out to become one of the most popular pocket knives in the world.

You can easily open the blade with one hand with the help of the characterizing thumb hole. Also called the *Spydiehole*. When opened the blade is kept in place by a solid liner lock. The liner lock ensures that the knife doesn't close during use. At the same time you also unlock the liner lock with one hand when you are done using it.

## Spyderco Tenacious: excellent ergonomics

The Tenacious feels amazing in hand. Father and son Glesser, owners of Spyderco, know exactly what makes a knife great. That doesn't always include the most complicated materials. Above all, the design needs to be excellent. That is also what makes the Tenacious so great.

This doesn't mean however, that money was saved on the materials used. On the contrary! Spyderco used G10 for the handle. An incredibly strong and sustainable composite material made from synthetic resin and glass fibres. Offers enough grip, but isn't overly present. To easily carry it in your pocket it comes with a pocket clip. Can be placed in four different ways to make sure it can be placed in a good way.

Spyderco selected 8Cr13MoV steel for the blade. This is a type of stainless steel that is easy to sharpen. making it a great choice for a knife you use often.

## A must-have for any collection.

It is safe to say that your collection won't be complete without the Spyderco Tenacious. Whether it is an addition to an extensive collection, or the start of a new hobby: the Tenacious doesn't disappoint!

Perfektes Messer in gewohnter Spyderco-Qualität zu einem Super-Preis. Habe bewusst die Serrated-Variante gekauft, da diese für Alltags-Aufgaben wesentlich mehr "Schneid" hat: Brot, Verpackungen, Schnüre, Seile, Kabelbinder, auch mal Leder, kleinere Äste / Stöcke, etc.; Bäume fällen und Battoning wären eher was für plain edge, sind aber weder alltägliche Aufgaben noch meiner Meinung nach Aufgaben für ein Messer. Die im www oft bemängelte problematische Ummontierung des Clips ist nur ein Gerücht, was einer vom anderen abschreibt. Man muss halt für die Torx-Schrauben einen Torx-Schlüssel verwenden, keinen Imbus (so wie man an Schlitzschrauben nicht mit einem Kreuzschlitzschraubendreher herangeht)! Die Klingenlänge ist ordentlich, es handelt sich eher um ein großes EDC. Klingengang ist butterweich, Klingenspiel gleich null, die Verriegelung solide. Alles in allem ein sehr zu empfehlendes Messer.
