The **Spyderco Manix 2 Salt MagnaCut C101PYL2** has been one of the most successful models from the Spyderco collection for quite some time. This version of the Manix 2 is part of Spyderco's famous Salt collection. This knife series consists of knives that are specifically designed for maritime purposes. Every single part, from the blade to the screws, is corrosion resistant.

## CPM MagnaCut blade

The blade is made from CPM MagnaCut. One of the most talked-about steels of the past years. Many feel this type of steel is 'perfect'. Quite the statement. But they are right. It is a stainless type of tool steel. With a comparable toughness and sharpness retention of carbon steels such as CPM-CruWear, CPM-4V and Vanadis 4.

The corrosion resistance is also sublime. Better than the popular stainless types of steel such as CPM S110V, CPM S45VN and Böhler M390. That's why Spyderco chose this steel type to be an addition to the Salt collection.

## Ball-bearing lock

When opened, the blade is locked in place by a solid ball bearing lock. This is a user-friendly lock that still ensures you can easily open and close the knife.

## FRCP handle

The handle of this knife is made from FRCP, a light-weight glass-reinforced polymer. This makes the handle incredibly light, but just as sturdy. The handle features a deep-carry wire clip that is suitable for both left-handed users and right-handed users.

Zoals je van Spyderco mag verwachten. Zeer goed gebouwd en bijna altijd vlijmscherp. Dit keer was m’n mes nog scherper dan normaal. Veel scherper als dat ik ze zelf kan slijpen :)

A very good pocket knife for fishing, hunting, forest trips, etc. Very sharp, good in the hand and easy to fold in and out.

Awesome knife and very sharp out of factory. Perfectly sit in my hand, with magnacut, can't imagen better knife. At the beginning I had feeling that button spring is too tight but in 2 weeks it got perfect.
