The **Smith & Wesson SW609** is a decent EDC pocket knife for an amazing price. You open it with the thumb stud or the flipper, and then a solid frame lock blocks it to prevent it from closing unintentionally.



The blade is made from 8Cr13MoV steel, a stainless steel that is easy to sharpen. The handle is made from stainless steel and inlaid with G10, a strong composite material that feels great in hand.

Couteau acheté pour la pêche en bord de mer au regard de son et son encombrement raisonnable, de son acier aussi qui convient à cet usage.
Il est beau, tient bien en main et coupe comme un rasoir, mais je ne l'utilise pas pour l'usage prévu car :
A l'usage il est trop grand et lourd, la lame est trop haute pour pénétrer facilement un crâne de poisson.
Le couteau donné l'absence de blocage et la positon du clip tend à s'ouvrir seul porté à la ceinture !!! Très dangereux pour mon usage.
Bref je l'ai remplacé par un Maserin sport et il m'accompagnera plutôt en forêt, toujours prêt dans la voiture.
