The **Silky NATA Outback Professional axe** is an indispensable aid when pruning smaller branches, debarking trees or making small kindling. With the introduction of this new NATA Outback Professional, Silky simultaneously launches a new finishing technique. The Silky Black Oxide combines the age-old Japanese way of corrosion prevention with modern technology.

## Silky NATA Outback Professional blade

The centre of gravity is placed in the front, at the SKS51 stainless steel blade. Due to this division of weight using the axe is a lot easier, and will not take as much energy. The reduced length makes the NATA very agile. You won't need a lot of space to swing in dense vegetation, and you will hit your intended target more easily. The NATA is also particularly suitable for slicing tasks, thanks to its rectangular shape. This makes it easier to hold with two hands, making the NATA very suitable for removing bark from wood, so the wood will dry faster! 

## Silky NATA Outback Professional handle

The comfortable rubber handle absorbs most of the shocks as you're chopping. The handle can also be removed and easily reattached. As such you can easily clean the NATA before you store it.

The Silky NATA comes with a strong sheath that you can attach to your belt. The sheath is made of aluminium and plastic. The belt loop is attached to the sheath with a quick-release. You easily detach the sheath from your belt, so it won't get in the way.

*Axe or machete? The traditionally designed Silky NATA is translated from Japanese as an axe. In use, the NATA is similar to a light hand axe or machete.*

La Silky Nata mi è stata consegnata in meno di una settimana, spedizione rapidissima e servizio impeccabile. ​Appena fuori dalla scatola, il coltello presenta un'affilatura discreta ma non "a rasoio". Poco male, considerando che nasce per sostituire un'ascia e non certo per compiti di taglio fine. Nel chopping e nello spacco della legna si comporta eccezionalmente, dimostrandosi uno strumento robusto e affidabile.
​Per quanto riguarda i lavori di precisione, come la creazione di feather sticks, il peso si fa sentire... per ottenere buoni risultati è necessario riaffilarlo a dovere e avere un'ottima manualità. Personalmente, per i lavori di fino, continuo a preferire coltelli appositi, ma la Nata si difende bene se messa alla prova.
​In conclusione... è uno strumento fenomenale. Ha sostituito definitivamente la mia accetta Hultafors nel setup da zaino, eliminando peso e ingombro eccessivi senza sacrificare le prestazioni sul campo. Consigliatissima per chi cerca efficienza in formato compatto

Hakt lekker weg, goeie balans. Gewicht naar het einde, maar niet lomp zwaar. De snede houd het tot nu toe ook goed. Geen butsen of breukjes.

Veramente una macchina da guerra, un po’ accetta un po’ machete! 
Molto divertente da usare, anche se il peso si fa sentire alla lunga. Il segreto secondo me, è far fare tutto alla forza di gravità, non serve imprimere forza, il suo peso lavora per te.

Silky propone prodotti di altissima qualità e questo Nata outback professional non fa eccezione. Uno strumento da lavoro molto efficiente , essenziale e robusto , dotato di un sistema di porto che definirei intelligente , il passante da cintura fisso è dotato di una clip a pressione che permette di agganciare e rimuovere fodero e strumento in pochi istanti , azzerando l’ingombro durante l’utilizzo e velocemente riporlo in vita per spostarsi o, più semplicemente, sistemarlo nello zaino senza armeggiare con la cintura e senza mai esporre la lama.
Il manico in gomma morbida è sostituibile e , anche se potrebbe creare qualche punto interrogativo sulla maneggevolezza o la sicurezza in presa così non è , risulta comodo e saldo in mano , ottimo prodotto !
