The **Rough Ryder Trapper** is a cool, traditional pocket knife. A real trapper with a clippoint and a speypoint. You open this knife with two hands and a slipjoint prevents accidental closing. As such you can legally carry this pocket knife in many places in Europe.

## 440 blade steel

440 is a great, popular type of steel. It is corrosion resistant and easy to sharpen. It won't retain its sharpness for a really long time, but this is compensated by the fact that 440 is quite tough and easy to sharpen. This means you only occasionally have to maintain it a little to make sure you always keep a sharp knife close.

## Ram's Horn Bone handle

The handle is made from 'Jigged Bone'. This is basically cow bone that is enhanced with an interesting texture and colour. Bone, of course, is a natural material. As such small differences in terms of colour and shape, or any other small imperfections may occur. In this case the texture and colour is added as such it looks a like a ram's horn. But a lot more affordable.

Rough Ryder Knives is a brand with a rich history. For over 25 years this brand is known for its excellent price-quality ratio. Like Theodore Roosevelt's Rough Ryders these knives were named after, these knives are ready to be used. The prices are very appealing. However, this does mean that the finish might not always be perfect. Nothing major, and definitely in line with the prices. In case of natural materials such as wood, bone and horn it is possible to end up with small scratches around the pins. It is simply a part of the deal in this price range.
