The **Rough Ryder Elephant Toe** is a large and cool pocket knife. A relatively unique pattern, with its extremely high blade. Like the toe of an elephant. You open this knife with two hands and a slipjoint prevents accidental closing. As such you can legally carry this pocket knife in many places in Europe.

## 440A steel

440A is a fine, popular type of steel. It is corrosion resistant and easy to sharpen. It won't retain its sharpness for a really long time, but this is compensated by the fact that 440A is quite tough and easy to sharpen. This means you only occasionally have to maintain it a little to make sure you always keep a sharp knife close.

## Black & Blue handle

The handle is made from Black & Blue Bone. This is cow bone that is enhanced with a texture and then coloured. Bone, of course, is a natural material. As such small differences in terms of colour and shape, or any other small imperfections may occur.

Like Theodore Roosevelt's Rough Ryders these knives were named after, these knives are ready to be used. The prices are very appealing. In case of natural materials such as wood, bone and horn it is possible to end up with small scratches around the pins. It is simply a part of the deal in this price range.

Navaja tradicional de cowboy y por tanto con dos características: falta de mecanismo de bloqueo (aunque con cierre lento slipjoint) y presencia de dos hojas de corte de distinto tamaño: de tipo marinero, de excelente corte y de aspecto nada agresivo a pesar de su tamaño considerable. Las hojas sobresalen bastante de las cachas, pero no es obstáculo a su agarre por su superficie texturizado. Se trata de un objeto de artesanía por el acabado pulido de las hojas, el color azul turquesa de las cachas, los adornos niquelados o plateados, que lo habilitan tanto para el uso en trabajos de campo como para coleccionismo. Pesa bastante, es una navaja pensada para el duro trabajo rural y de montaña y eso la hace muy apreciable por quienes se dedican a esas tareas
