The **Rough Ryder Barlow** is a cool, traditional pocket knife. A real barlow, with two blades: a clippoint as a 'main blade' and a smaller pen blade. You open this knife with two hands and a slipjoint prevents accidental closing. As such you can legally carry this pocket knife in many places in Europe.



## T10 carbon steel


T10 is a type of carbon steel. This means that it is easy to sharpen razor-sharp. But please note: T10 is not stainless! It will discolour in time and form a patina. And if you don't treat it at all, it will even start to rust. So clean it after use and occasionally add a few drops of oil to the blade. Carbon steel such as this is really a traditional option: in the past all knives were made from this type of steel.

The handle is made from Denim micarta This is micarta made from denim. Layers of textile on top of each other, drenched in a strong resin to make sure it becomes strong enough to function as handle material. It looks amazing!

Like Theodore Roosevelt's Rough Ryders these knives were named after, these knives are ready to be used. The prices are very appealing. However, this does mean that the finish might not always be perfect. Nothing major, and definitely in line with the prices. In case of natural materials such as wood, bone and horn it is possible to end up with small scratches around the pins. It is simply a part of the deal in this price range.

Ik heb bij Knives and Tools al meerdere producten besteld naar volle tevredenheid. 
Zeer aan te bevelen. 

Le couteau n’est pas cher et ça, c’est son point positif mais à réception, lame principale voilée, ressort de la lame principale mal ajusté et donc beaucoup trop faible. Le manche est plutôt jolie mais au final le contrôle qualité est inexistant rendant le couteau inutilisable. 
Je ne rachèterai pas de couteau de cette marque.

Trage es ständig, da es so gut in die Mini Tasche der Jeans passt. Die Klinge ist Kohlenstoffstahl , was ich dann nach dem ersten Apfel schälen feststellte und sie nicht mehr so glänzt. Die Verarbeitung ist gut und bis dato Schärfe behalten.

Erg mooi en 'klassiek' mes. Goed afgewerkt en voelt niet goedkoop aan. Door de plaatsing van de nail nick en de messen zelf is het helaas met kortere nagels wel ontzettend lastig om het grote mes open te klappen. Mij lukt het alleen door eerst het kleine mes open te klappen en dat is best onhandig. Al met al voor de prijs best prima, maar niet geschikt voor snelle taakjes.
