The **Robert Herder straight classic peeling knife** follows in the footsteps of Robert Herder's famous mill knives. This peeling knife is ideal for peeling fruit and vegetables. It can also be used for various other small cutting jobs. The carbon steel blade is sharpened by hand according to the traditional German "Solinger Dünnschliff" principle. The result is a razor-sharp knife. The carbon steel used for the blade is not stainless, so it needs to be treated with care. This means it must be cleaned and dried by hand after use. The handle is made from red beech wood, seamlessly attached to the blade with three rivets.

Deze klassieker blijft natuurlijk top. Zeer scherp en vlot scherp te houden. Maar men moet er wel rekening met houden dat het mest gevoelig voor roest. Als men dat doet, een topper!

Heel fijn mes, ik gebruik het voor alle groente en fruit. Er is geen betere, ik wil nooit  geen ander mesje meer.

Ces couteaux de cuisine de Herder sont extrêmement tranchants et peuvent être affûtés très facilement. Ils rouillent parce qu’ils sont faits de carbone. Comment les soigner est dans le mode d’emploi. Vous n’avez rien à faire dans le lave-vaisselle. Mes couteaux ne rouillent pas parce que je les sèche après usage. J’utilise ces couteaux depuis des années et je les achèterais encore et encore.
