The larger models feature the simple yet effective Virobloc safety twistlock mechanism, which allows the blade to be locked in both the open and the closed positions. This pocket knife is a classic in the true sense of the word.

Zoals verwacht, kundig gemaakt fantastisch mes.

Het blijven mijn favoriete messen. Vlijmscherp en ook altijd weer zo te slijpen. Lekker makkelijk voor in de broekzak. Zeker aan te raden.

Prima alround mesje voor schilwerk, ice-pick of andere handige momenten. Vooral omdat hij zo makkelijk vast te zetten is!

Kleinste Opinel met een framelock.

Fijne staalkwaliteit. Europese makelij. Scherp, makelijk te scherpen en zeer scherp te scherpen. 
Deze messen zijn ook goed bestand tegen misbruik. Heb al met een opinel 9 takken van bomen afgehakt zonder veel problemen. 

Dit mes is aangekocht als offer voor het lemmet in een multitool te vervangen van 420hc naar Sandvik 12C27.
Het lemmet was zeer moeilijk bewerkbaar. Niet echt een aanrader tenzij je carbide/diamant gereedschappen kan gebruiken. Met de meeste boren kan je dit lemmet niet schenden.

Voorzichtig om deze opinel messen niet als hefboom of wrik gereedschap te gebruiken want dan breken ze snel. Het lemmet van deze opinel 6 is 1,2mm dik.
