This **Lodge skillet/frying pan with two handles** is perfect when baking, roasting, stewing or grilling. The cast-iron retains the heat well and perfectly distributes it. No strange spots in the pan where your food won't heat up! And the frying pan can be used on all cooking hobs. Put it in the oven, or your stove, or hang it over an open flame. It even works on induction. The two flat handles ensures that the pan won't take up too much room on the stove.


## Maintaining your lodge pan


 As the pan is produced it is treated with vegetable oil based on soya. As a result you end up with a natural non-stick coating. And each time you use a Lodge pan, this non-stick coating will only become better. Maintaining it, however, is very important. Clean the pan after use with water and a little bit of detergent. It is not dishwasher proof. If there is still some left-over food sticking to the pan, scrape it off with a [pan scraper.](/en/pt/-lodge-pan-scraper-combo-set-scrapercombo.htm) Having trouble removing the left-over food? Simmer a little bit of water in the pan for 3-5 minutes. Afterwards you can easily scrape out any left-over residue. Properly dry the pan after cleaning it and add a small layer of [oil](kato://product/LG-L-Aspray) to the pan. Always make sure you store the pan in a dry place. Otherwise it can start to rust!

Super produit. Plus je m'en sers et plus je l'apprécie. Après quelques semaines d'utilisation, je me rends compte que je m'en sers plus que mes poêles en inox. Je l'utilise également sur barbecue en guise de plancha ou au four en guise de plat. C'est la polyvalence à l'extrême.

Fantastisch werkpaard deze skillet met bedruipdeksel. De stoofschotel van lamsnek kwam er voorbeeldig gegaard uit. Ook uitstekend voor  spiegeleieren, tortilla, een full english breakfast of een panbrood. Een alleskunner die zich net zo goed thuisvoelt op het fornuis, in de oven als op houtvuur. Top!
