With the square **Lodge Grill Pan** you have even more surface to prepare the most delicious dishes. With this cast iron pan you can easily prepare perfectly grilled vegetables or meat. The cast-iron retains the heat well and perfectly distributes it. No strange spots in the pan where your food won't heat up! The deeply ridged surface ensures that any fat is drained. The same ridges also leave stunning grill stripes on your meat or vegetables. This grill pan can be used on any cooking hob. Put it in the oven, or your stove, or hang it over an open flame. It even works on induction. 


## Maintaining your lodge pan


 As the pan is produced it is treated with vegetable oil based on soya. As a result you end up with a natural non-stick coating. And each time you use a Lodge pan, this non-stick coating will only become better. Maintaining it, however, is very important. Clean the pan after use with water and a little bit of detergent. It is not dishwasher proof. If there is still some left-over food sticking to the pan, scrape it off with a [pan scraper.](kato://product/ LG-L-Scrcombo) Having trouble removing the left-over food? Simmer a little bit of water in the pan for 3-5 minutes. Afterwards you can easily scrape out any left-over residue. Properly dry the pan after cleaning it and add a small layer of [oil](kato://product/ LG-L-Aspray) to the pan. Always make sure you store the pan in a dry place. Otherwise it can start to rust!

Molto solida, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

La finitura dell'oggetto non è perfetta, è comunque un prodotto di fascia  economica, ho dovuto rimediare a qualche punto dove la stagiunatura mancava o non era uscita bene di fabbrica.

Però ottima cottura , la pulizia è abbastanza semplice inoltre di questo genere è fondamentalmente l'unica padella in ghisa non rivestita di forma quadrata , un bel vantaggio perchè il quadrato è una superficie ben più sfruttabile di un cerchio quando si cuociono carne o verdure "a strisce"
