The **Kizer Vanguard HIC-CUP V3606C1** is a decent and practical EDC pocket knife. You open the knife with the thumb hole or the front flipper. If you are not used to a front flipper it might take some getting used to, but because the knife is not enhanced with protruding parts it will easily slip in and outside of your pocket. Once opened a button lock ensures that the blade stays in place.

Thanks to the deep-carry pocket clip you can subtly carry the knife in your pocket. The pocket clip is placed on the right side of the handle. It is, however, possible to attach the pocket clip on the other side of the handle. Do you prefer to open a pocket knife with a thumb stud? Don't worry! The curve in the thumb hole of the blade enables you to add the included thumb stud.

## Kizer HIC-CUP handle and blade

The blade is made from 154CM steel with a satin finish. A stainless type of steel that retains its sharpness well. In addition, you can also easily sharpen it yourself if the knife starts to lose some of its sharpness over time. The handle is made from grey-green micarta. Micarta is a combination of canvas and synthetic resin. This material is known to be rock-solid and offers a lot of grip, even in wet circumstances. Thanks to the deep pocket clip you can easily carry the knife in your pocket.
